Whether it's dealing with the nuttiness of my students (I'm convinced that some of them are feral children), the eyeroll-worthy behaviors of adults, or the things that unpleasantly remind me that I no longer live in the Philadelphia suburbs, I inevitably find myself saying (in various emphatical tones), "Excuse me." Sometimes, the phrase is punctuated by an exclamation point. Often, it ends with an obvious question mark-exclamation point combo. I think you'll see what I mean...
